I used this stand for a fairly large, heavy elongated bowl and it works great. No worries about it getting knocked over. Its simple wood (bamboo) construction makes it simple and matches well with everything.

I ordered both the small and the large in this product and my photo shows the smaller of the two. Let me tell you, this is EXACTLY what I was needing. I was using a different "display easel" for small needlework I've finished, but just didn't like how it looked. THIS is perfect! Plus, I was expecting it to arrive wrapped in a simple see-through plastic bag, but it arrived in a very nice box that would make it a lovely gift.
