Bought it to replace another of her toys that had seen better days, but was her favourite and nothing else would do. Seems like it will be a good quality toy.

My dog is known to destroy most toys, but this one has held up for 2 months so far! She seems decently engaged with it, but I wouldn’t say it’s 7x extended play for her. I like how it is durable enough to withstand my aggressive chewer but still allows you to make an indent with your nail (aka safe on teeth). Overall great chew toy and worth the cost!

I’m disappointed we just received this bone today. I gave it to my dog and literally within 5 minutes it was broke. Unfortunately the product is not durable and functional. If you need a dog to test your product I’m available. I have 2 German shepherd dogs who are active and love to play.

My German Shepherd loves this bone. He can’t get enough of it. It is so durable. It takes about a year for him to chew through it and he plays with it every day. My only “complaint” is that it sinks when he drops it in the pool. He seems to think pool time is time for fetch so he drops it in the pool to get our attention. What can I say? He’s obsessed.

Great product. My dog is a very big chewer and this toy passes the test. Last one took months of heavy chewing before it showed signs of tearing.

I've been unable to get my dog to chew on this toy. My theory is the smell isn't particularly good and she actually moves away from it when offered. The construction seems sturdy and I'm sure if your dog liked the smell it would be a great chew.

Get a German Shepherd, they said.It will be great, they said. They weren't wrong. 💙Except... nobody warned me that chew toys have a self-destruct "count-down", within the hour, when a GSD gets a hold of it.The amount of money I've spent, in the 1st year, replacing, replenishing, and exploring chew toys.... has cost me more than what I paid for my purebred GSD.It's been worth it. She's 100% worth it. But I was losing hope my sweet girl would never have a long-term comfort toy.And then I met "playology". And it was like I'd found a GSD's toy-soulmate.Prior to the array of chew-toys I've bought from playology I had to be conscientious about quality-VS-cost, because I didn't want to spend a ton of $$; just to have the toy destroyed by Mila's aggressive playing. But after the 1st toy survived through a WEEK 😲... I bought a 2nd, then 3rd...etc. And now playology is my go-to.Now that I've thoroughly rambled... let's get down to brasstacks.THE FACTS:[my personal assessment scale 1-to-10]1= calm as a light breeze. OR I wouldn't recommend, even if free.10= destructive like an F5-tornado 😂 OR I recommend so strongly, I might get judgey if ya don't buy it. [LOL! Just teasin]MILA:>> 80lbs, 22-month-old purebred Sable GSD.PLAYSTYLE: 10>> Aggressive, destructive chewer.>> seriously! I had to replace my livingroom carpet, bc I took a 30-min nap and she ripped it OFF the subfloor.ENERGY: 7>> when she's up, she's in go-mode.TOY ANNIHILATION: 9>> prior to playology- nothing lasted longer than 72-hrs.PLAYOLOGY RECORD: 9APPEARANCE: 8>> colors are more than just bright, playful, and aesthetically pleasing; they serve a purpose.>> Playology uses color coordination to help consumers quickly identify the LEVEL of toughness. All toys in the same level of toughness, will have a dominant color for quick identification; without having to read the fine-print.SHAPE/SIZE: 5>> Meh. Here's one, of very frew, gripes I have. Because of the diversity of ONE product, the variety of sizes available is limited.>> but that's a small issue in comparison to value.DURABILITY: 9.>> out of the 7 toys I've bought, only one hasn't survived. But, even that one lasted a month.>> I am 100% comfortable leaving Mila alone to chew, chew, chew to her hearts content.I don't worry over pieces breaking off ( bc none ever have). I don't worry about her choking; bc majority of toys are big enough, they physically cannot be swallowed.>> EVERY toy (except 1) has lasted... but MOST importantly, Mila LOVES them.I am reviewing THIS particular toy bc it's her favorite; her 'security-blanket'.She also has 3- squeaker balls, a soft crinkle disc, and 2 oblong balls (but she's impartial to those)The ONE and ONLY thing you, as a consumer, might want to be conscientious of, is...THESE TOYS are SCENTED!Almost all of them are.And even though Mila LOOOOVES that (the Cheese seems 2 be her favorite)... the potency of the toy's smell, during the first few months, turned my stomach. It does fade over time (or I've become nose blind). And I haven't noticed any adverse reactions to these toys.... so I feel like they truly are non-toxic.The UPSIDE to the scent? I used these toys to train the "FIND" command. The stronger smell helping her locate when hidden.QUICK COMMENT on THIS TOY:This bone does NOT have a squeaker. It DOES have a small bounce to it when tossed on a hard surface. It's very dense, a little heavy; so, might not be ideal for tiny dogs.It DOES kinda smell like cheese; but with a faint chemical smell. I recommend hand washing it with a dab of non-toxic soap... let FULLY dry, hand wash again without soap to make sure all soap is gone; let fully dry. This substantially reduces the chemical smell.OVERALL?: 10 out of 10.No regrets.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!😍🤩I will not only continue to be a loyal patron, but I'm a Playology 'cheerleader' to any dog-parents, I now meet.

Update at bottom -- Our Lab pup loves it. She prefers the beef scented one to the peanut butter one. She chews hard on it and doesn't damage it. However, I brought it with my pup to my brother's when he cared for my pup for a week. My brother's Pit mix did chew one corner off. So there are extreme chewers that can take it apart. That being said, my Lab has chewed on it for another 2 months since then and made absolutely no additional progress damaging it. I really believe it's only a rare extreme chewer that can damage this toy. Since one corner is chewed off, I can see that the toy has a pretty hard center core and a slightly less hard outer rubber. It works great for the dog biting down and then meeting harder resistance. My wife thinks it stinks. It does have a mild smell I don't love, but it's not that bad. The dog loves it.Update: later the day I wrote this review, my Lab managed to chew off another corner. So I can say they last a while with heavy chewers. And the dog really likes it, but they can be destroyed by normal strong chewers, and they aren't cheap. Dropping 1 star to 4.I think a couple years later, I continue to buy these. Still not cheap, but new Great Dane pup loves them too. Both dogs get our money's worth out of them before I have to throw one away. Many months of very heavy chewing joy before throwing one away. Both dogs prefer the bone shaped ones to the ring shaped ones. They don't seem to like the rings much at all.
