This stopped the oil from leaking out everywhere on my Piranha 125cc pit bike. I used masking tape to cover the gear shift splines while removing and replacing it. A lug wrench socket fits over this taped shaft to install the seal evenly. No more oil on the floor and has paid for itself in oil savings.
