Great way to avoid excess fat. Works quickly and well. Looks nice too. Top part is a little finicky but workable. I recommend keeping original box for storage.

I'm assuming all the 4 and 5 star reviews are from people who had not used an air popper before. Of the 3 I have owned, this one is just terrible, Gave up last night and threw it in the trash. The air volume on this unit is too low to handle the recommended amount of kernels. It will choke and over heat unless you use ½ to ⅔ of the recommend amount. One popping begins, there is not enough force to properly clear the shoot, so you need to tip the unit to keep the kernels from clogging as they pop, causing more over heating. The unit will shut down for about 10 minutes and you have to go again. Keep looking.

I've only used it a few times, but I like it. It works well. The only issue I have with it, is that it slides backwards slowly when it's running.

After a month, the machine stopped working properly. It just heats the kernel and then stops due to overheating just before they can pop. Not worth the hassle. You can avoid this one.

I write this review with ⚠️ caution since the last 2 (not this brand), had both lasted about a week! So I seen Frigidaire in the description, knowing it "USED TO BE A" a decent brand. Of course now days, every dammed thing comes from 🇨🇳 China, so who knows how long it will last. I hate this throw away society!! 😒 Anyway, made 5 batches so far and it's still going, and seems to work pretty well. So here's hoping. 🙏🙏

This is the cutest, little appliance! I bought it because my dog adores popcorn but my homemade popcorn, (cooked in oil), is not good for her. I made a bowl of hot air popcorn and then a bowl of "my popcorn". She wasn't thrilled at first but soon decided "her popcorn" was better than NO popcorn at all! It is so cute I don't even want to hide it away in the cupboard. It did exactly what it's supposed to do. I am very happy with it.

We like the popcorn maker, it is a little loud, but it is supposed to be. Heating the machine up for 2 minutes works well. A dozen or so kernels will not be popped, but that is because of the corn, not the machine. It is funny watching my husband catch all the popcorn. He doesn’t realize that he needs to turn the bowl while making popcorn. Makes a large bowl of popcorn. This is the best air popcorn maker I have ever owned.

This is a nice, compact air popper, but it has some issues. I've had it for a week now and am still trying to figure out ways to minimize what I consider to be performance issues of the popper. The primary problem is that once some of the popcorn kernels pop, they come shooting out of the popper at a high rate of velocity. This causes 2 undesirable effects - first, the popcorn will bounce off of the bowl you're using to catch it, and you end up with popcorn on the counter (not a big deal) and the floor (more of an issue). Second, when the popcorn comes shooting out of the popcorn, it also carries with it a number of un-popped (and very hot) kernels. I've tried putting fewer kernels in the popper, but this doesn't seem to help. I've also started fishing through the bowl for the un-popped kernels and putting them back in the popper. This reduces the amount of waste, but doesn't solve the problem.I'm guessing that there are better options out there. I picked this one because it was reasonably priced and bpa-free, but am not loving it.

I dislike this because it leaves too many kernels unpopped. It’s wasteful . And, I use the correct amount. Also the shoot isn’t aimed down enough for the popcorn to go in the bowl. As the popcorn gets closer to what it will pop, it starts shooting popcorn all over the room. Just now I made some and picked 22 pieces up off the floor and counter. You have to cover it with a towel. The old one I had for years worked great but finally quit after a year. I received a Dash brand for my birthday, this past August, and it stopped working in October. Also the same problem with the shoot throwing popcorn everywhere and leaving a lot of kernels unpopped . The Frigidaire being a well known brand I assumed would do the job. It’s no good, either. I’m going to search for another brand and throw this one away

I have had mine for about a year now. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Pops almost all kernels.Really like that it has the on/off switch rather than the unplug the machine to stop popping. Super pleased.

This popcorn maker is not great. It’s easy to use and doesn’t take up too much space. However, the spout isn’t long enough so popcorn goes flying everywhere even if you hold a bowl right up to it. A lot of unpopped kernel come flying out with the popped corn so there are a lot of wasted kernels. Wouldn’t recommend it.
