One of the 2 I bought didn’t fly only one of the lights turned on, the other didn’t. They seamed to get hot on the bottom. The only reason that i liked it is because it looks amazing as per my grandsons.

Bought this for my adult brother as a sort-of gag gift. It's actually surprisingly fun, even for adults. We made a little course inside/outside the house and made a competition to see who could crash less. It's a fun toy and if it breaks thats okay because it wasn't very expensive. We try to be careful with it and it has proven to be pretty durable. But at the end of the day if it breaks or gets lost at least we didn't spend a bunch of money.Would be great for older kids who are already familiar with gaming controllers or video games.

It broke upon the first landing! Cheap and do not recommend!

Looks and is very delicate, fragile. The user guide has incomplete and incorrect information. And of course the battery life is ridiculously too short. By the time you figure out the controls, the battery in the helicopter is dead. Still the controller requires 6 AA batteries.Definitely hesitate to give it to my grandson.

We've had several similar helicopters from other companies over the years and they have all taken a lot of abuse (i.e. crashes) before ever breaking. The last one we purchased never even physically broke but the battery just quit recharging. But with this helicopter the top set of blades came off after a single, minor rough landing. Returning and getting another brand.

Bought for my young grandson. My oldest grandson just graduated from basic training, he will be an apache mechanic so his little brother was thrilled with it. It works great going up and down but couldn't get it to move forward so gave it 4 stars.

I got this for my husband for Christmas, and we’ve had fun with it. (Who says kids get all the fun?) It looks cool, and it’s well made. At first I was concerned with how flimsy the propellers felt, but it got knocked around a good bit and I was sure it was broken several times, but it’s actually held together really well. Takes a while to get used to the controls, but it’s a fun challenge. We haven’t had much time on our hands since Christmas, so I can’t speak for it’s durability with constant use, but when we have played with it has seemed to have good longevity and durability. Very fun and my husband loves it.

Super simple to fly, and a guaranteed favorite toy for anyone over 7! It is my go-to present for kids that have not had a RC helicopter.I first discovered this specific helicopter in a mall 8 years ago (when my son was 5), and it was his favorite Christmas present that year! While the box says it's for 14+, he, and all of his 5 year old peeps had no difficulty learning to control it. Note: There are small parts, and spinning plastic blades so supervise your kid when they use it. My son understood to shut down the power when he crashed (left throttle), and did just fine.Control is easy. There is power (controlling vertical lift) on the left stick, and movement on the right stick. When you move the right stick to the right/left it controls rotation (clockwise/counter clockwise). When you move the stick forward/backwards the chopper moves in that direction. There's a trim dial on the remote control that allows you to tweak the helicopter so it hovers in place (this position will change as due to bumps & crashes) which is really useful after a couple of crashes.Ours chopper lots of minor crashes and kept on running. The propellers have gobbled up tinsel (from crashing into the Christmas tree; must remove from rotor shaft before flying again), has multiple drops from our 8' ceiling, and lots of bumps against tables, chairs, walls, and counters, and it has kept on ticking. We gave it away after a year, as my son upgraded to more challenging RC helicopters.
