My old gas cap finally fell apart about 6 months ago and I've had no idea if I had gas in the tank or not. Ran across this gas cap on Amazon when I wasn't even looking for it ... decided to buy it. Quick shipping and I put it on the UTV immediately. Fits good, accurate easy to read cap, I'm good to go now.

Two months into this 4th replacement unit … and the internal spines holding the fuel sensor are rusting in several places. This is my 4th replacement gauge over the last ten years. Typically, the protective glass cover falls off, but the spindle guide rusting is also a durability problem. Rust on the spines impedes the floating fuel level sender from moving freely and eventually causes it to send inaccurate readings. Plus, they still haven’t fixed the glass lens to prevent it from falling off (I’m adding some epoxy this time). I’m not happy - hard to believe this is OEM.

I purchased this to replace the gas cap on a 2008 Polaris Ranger. This one works without any issues. Gauge seems to be accurate, plastic viewing is clear and easy to read, and it screws on nice.If you need a replacement this works great!

Came fast. Easy to open packaging. When I replaced the original I noticed that this one seems to even screw in and out more easily than the original. The length of the design normally requires 2 or more tries to get the threads to engage. These threads seem much easier. Float moves easily and accurately and quickly indicates fuel level. When you are in the boondocks with the only gas you have being that which is in the tank, you want to trust what the indicator is saying! Inexpensive and works better than the part that came wit the vehicle. What more could I ask for?
