Variations of this have been around for ages, and I was anxious to get one for our 1 year old's birthday. It's OK, but I dunno if I'd get it again. It's smaller than others. I was surprised by that. It didn't bother me too much, though and he certainly doesn't care. What he DOES care about is that 2 of the 4 opening mechanisms are too hard for his little hands to work. The slider takes a surprising amount of effort, as does the knob. He has basically given up on those. I have to hold the thing still with one hand and operate the slider with my other hand to get that one to work. It's just super stiff.Otherwise, it's a nice device. For an 18 month old it might be more manageable, but by then he'll probably be on to other things anyway. Seems well made and durable, though. Would I get it again? Probably not.

This is a good toy for kids, but I do feel the amount of strength you have to have for some of the buttons might be too much for a smaller child. Overall, she likes it and is attracted to the different colors, shapes and sounds of this toy. There are no small parts to worry about although, she immediately put the hammer into her mouth when using it, but I don't have to worry about her swallowing it.

This toy is perfect for keeping toddlers entertained while building important skills. The pop-up buttons and hammer make it fun and engaging, encouraging little ones to explore cause and effect. It’s designed with a Montessori approach, which is great for helping kids develop fine motor skills. The toy is sturdy and made for small hands, so it’s easy for babies and toddlers to handle. The bright colors and interactive features capture their attention, and the fact that it doesn’t require batteries is a big plus. It’s simple to use, and kids enjoy figuring out how to make the pieces pop up or move. This is a wonderful choice for parents looking for an educational and sensory toy that’s both fun and practical for children around 9 to 18 months old.

Very nice toy. Music and sound effects are great, and not too offensive for parents. The toy works great and is perfect for playing WITH your baby. Unfortunately, there are some issues. First is the hammer. Its very fat and short and not easy for a baby to handle. Also, its super light and not suitable for knocking the pop ups back down. We took it out of the kit immediately since it is pointless. Next issue are the controls. They knobs and buttons all work well, but they are very stiff and hard for a child to work. perhaps they will soften over time, but for now, it seems we'll have to work them for the baby and help her push the pop ups back down.

This popup animal toy is perfect for babies and toddlers who love interactive play. It’s designed to teach cause and effect with buttons, levers, and a little hammer that pops up the animals. The lights and sounds make it even more exciting, keeping your baby engaged while helping with sensory development. It’s a great size for little hands, and it’s sturdy enough to handle all the enthusiastic play, my baby loves the hammer if comes with. Perfect for early learning and tons of giggles!

This was a first birthday present and it is very age appropriate. The 1 year-old loves playing with it. He primarily likes poking at the characters and dancing to the music. I suspect when he’s a bit older he will enjoy whacking at the characters with the mallet, which means this gift will have long term interest and good value. Works great on the carpet, it keeps his interest, and price is fair.

Not a bad toy for a young tyke. Most of the interactive switches are too stiff for a little kid to activate. You will need to hold the toy in place while he/she tries to flip the stiff latches. Colors are bright and well done. Hammer is safe for small kid not to become a choking hazard.Cheers
