Though this ran much smaller than expected, we got a larger size and it fits very well. It wraps all around the abdomen for a comfortable fit with no rubbing straps. The little hood is more for fashion. This provides a quick-to-put on cover for when we jump into the vehicle for a ride, keeping the fur curtailed and not blowing everywhere while giving her a little "hug" from the jacket, which calms her.

I ordered an extra small because that’s what it said it should be for a Chihuahua of my dogs size. It is extremely small for her. I am having a very difficult time finding ring coat that will fit her. Smalls are too big or too small extra smalls or too small mediums are way too big. It just doesn’t matter the brand. This is very cute coat. I’m sad that it doesn’t fit her.
