Office air conditioner broke so I had to get something to help with the heat in my office room at least temporarily. This little unit works just fine after placing it on my desk table. I just needed to add a bit of water and it started working right away. Helped cool down my area effectively and quietly. It is such a cost saving method when you just wanted something easy and portable but still does the job. It can’t replace an actual air conditioner but it is enough if you just need to cool down a bit without using too much energy. Very portable and can bring it to a different room without much hassle. It is very lightweight as well and small enough to fit anywhere in the rooms. Wonderful and cute little office cooler.

I don’t do humidity because let’s face it, where I live, humidity is about 100 every day and night of the year, but for my allergies, a little extra humidity in times when it is dry, is perfect for me. The MAIN reason I got this little gem is because, again, I live in an area where not only is humidity par for the course, but so is HEAT!! If I can find a way to save on electricity and NOT run my big AC unit which can freeze up when it's being used overtime during the hotter months, I will gladly jump at that chance to save that money. I sit at my desk at home, or on my loveseat, or sitting up in bed watching TV late at night and really, for those moments, I don’t want a LOT of cold air or a LOT of usage. I simply want to cool down and get the area around me comfortable, then I turn the device off and turn on a ceiling fan and all is fine.This little device is a serious boon and I have noticed a significant difference during the times of day when it is overly hot. Especially at night when I can’t sleep because of the excess heat. If I am having a dry sinus day because the allergens are in the air and it's a little dry, I reactivate the humidity part of the cooler and all is well again pretty rapidly.
