I wouldn’t exactly describe this as a compact / portable camping fan, but it’s good at what it does. On a full charge, I was able to get just over 77 hours of run time at the lowest fan speed (without oscillation) - considerably better than the advertised 60 hour work time, which was a nice surprise. After a recharge, I filled the water reservoir to try the misting mode on a warm late-spring day, and got about a little over an hour’s worth of cool mist as the fan rotated back and forth. This may very well be my new favorite table-top fan.The only down-side so far I’ve found to the fan is that the touch-sensitive controls are a little TOO sensitive; I’ve accidentally activated them by brushing against them while moving the fan a couple of times already. I would have preferred more traditional push button controls, but that’s just a personal preference. A button to re-center the fan when it’s done oscillating would have been nice as well.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a camping fan with a mister, but this little gadget completely surprised me. It doesn’t need a regular power outlet, which means you can use it pretty much anywhere once its charged. So whether you're out camping, having a picnic, or just relaxing in the backyard, pop this onto the charger the night before and you can enjoy the cool breeze all day. After hearing all of the predictions for this summer, the cool mist would make it an absolutely lifesaver on the coming hot days, especially when there’s no shade in sight and the humidity is thru the roof. This fan is designed to be portable. It weighs just over 6 pounds, so it’s light enough to carry around easily, and it feels sturdy and well-made. The material is solid and seems built to last, even in the heat. This is designed to be taken on hikes, to outdoor work sites, and even the beach. It’s definitely earned a permanent spot in my outdoor gear and I keep in in my trunk just in case. I give this fan five stars and highly recommend it!

I hate the heat, and love the outdoors. We get the pleasure of having all 4 seasons here in Iowa so it can be tough for us over-heaters! This fan would make an awesome addition to your outdoors equipment!Love:- The misting feature helps really cool you off!- The super long battery life- Remote option AND a little place to click the remote!- Options/versatility in speed choices, mist or mo mist, oscillate or not and even oscillate partially or like all 90°- You can hang it places with the hook on the bottom.- The price is outstanding even if it loses battery life over time, it's a great value.- It has a light up part that both helps you see a little (like it wouldn't be my sole source of light if given a choice) and the lightweight helps remind me that even when the fan is not spinning it needs to be turned off.Minor negatives:- Charging time for me was excruciatingly long with my lightning fast phone charger. Maybe they don't like each other, but it does take a long time! Maybe plug it in overnight ahead of using it. But even with a small battery percentage (it even tells you the percentage!) it will last a while!- When it is hanging from the hook upside down, it can't pull the water up through the tube's well to mist.- Heavy weight, though perfect sized. So the negatives for sure don't outweigh the awesomeness. A friend saw me with it at the ball park and had to get one for his family right away and you should, too!

Alright, I was leary at first, but this thing is awesome! If you live in a western state where it's dry, this misting fan is an absolute godsend in hot weather. It performs exactly as I expected. The modes were a little odd to figure out but, I was surprised once I got that going. The fan is sturdy for the most part, and has a great capacity for water. It holds precisely 16fl out bottle of water and will take a while to go through it.The LED's are super useful combining a fan, a swamp cooler, a phone charging bank and a lantern all in one. There is a hook located on the bottom of the unit, but the water fill port will leak a few drops when you hang it upside down. This can be rectified by turning the fan portion completely over so that it's no longer leaking in the armature. The oscilating function makes this fan even more versatile as it will sweep across your camp area or your larger tent. Our kids were pretty grateful for this during our last camping trip.
