Mine made it just out of the two year warranty then died. Would not recommend buying this unit.

I purchased a PC 60-gal compressor a few years ago. It recently died because a small valve in the pump broke. I took it to a Porter-Cable repair center and was told that PC was getting out of the large compressor business and no repair parts were available. My only option was to buy a complete new pump for $450.

This compressor needs many extra parts that are not included to hook up but once this is accomplished it works great.Dose not come with a power cord of any kind so must get your own.Requires 220 volts to work so be warned.Purchased all parts required to hook it up from Amazon.Use a good water filter and good pressure regulator.Race Car Bob

We've had it in our 4-man, commercial cabinet shop for ten years and I'm getting ready to replace it with the same. The rings are pretty shot, and there is a fair amount of oil blow by. It's been very dependable, and in constant service since we bought it. I have 2-year old Rolair in our spray booth, and I like this one better. It's quieter and hasn't had any of the same overheating issues that the Rolair has had. Just change the oil regularly, drain the tank regularly, and you're good to go.

Porter Cable is NOT, I repeat, NOT getting out of the air compressor business. At the current time Sanborn is the OEM for Porter Cable air compressors and a support agent at their tech support call center said PC has no plans to abandon AC's. Parts are very much still available.
