This light is very pretty and high quality. The outer frame is metal, not wood and it is more grayish than brown, but very pretty. We had no issues putting it together or hanging it.

I get so many compliments on this light fixture! It's a perfect fit for our handmade beetle-kill pine dining table, and is elegant enough without being over stuffy. The dimming feature is great, as we can set the mood depending on the vibe we want to have for dinner, breakfast or lunch. Found the perfect light bulbs and it is absolutely a statement piece in our dining room. It fits our table perfectly - I would measure to make sure it's a fit for your breakfast bar, island or table.

The product is very nice but doesn't work in my dining room.I am disappointed about the return policy that makes me pay $20 for shipping. Nowhere are the shipping costs mentioned in the return policy. Had I known this, I would not have ordered the fixture at all.
