Recently purchased and installed this project. The part seems to have fixed my Xbox issues but I do have to note that the part is not identical to the advertised picture. The wires are not braided with a strong shelding but do have a bare minimum shield on it. There is also a screen on the side of the oem unit that this unit did not include. So far the part seems to be holding up. I assume the company or Amazon will pay my insurance if the part is faulty and burns my house down haha.

Yet, it continues to be sold!The pictures are likenesses of the OEM part and doe NOT represent the actual product. That is, the cables aren't shielded. The plug port has NO metallic housing. If that's the outside, I cant begin to imagine the inside!I bought 2 from 2 different suppliers and the circumstances were exactly the same. Of course, I returned both. I cannot afford to risk damages, and worse, a fire; apparently, Amazon is!
