i love prang watercolors and colored pencils. i recently began experimenting with pastels, so of course i wanted to try pastellos! several of the chalks arrived in pieces from shipping (which is normal and not a big deal), but a magenta piece must've grinded down to dust and got alllll over the packaging + the rest of the sticks in the set. i had to wipe down everything down individually with a paper towel before i could use them. not sure if they're worth that initial mess, but the pigments are nice and $9 isn't bad for 24 :) i probably wouldn't reorder, but would repurchase in a store. well done, prang!

Prrrraaanggg! This brand has great color saturation for the price! Some will break in shipping but in school that meant 2x the crayons. Tested on the front porch it went on well color was bright. It did not smear when walked on and hosed off easily. We have not tried it long term. I would say for budget chalk drawings to jump into this is a good bet. Remember P R A N G.

I ordered these to use with polymer clay and the range of colours is excellent, especially given the price. There was a bit of colour transfer between the sticks from loose chalk, probably because of the tight cellophane wrapping but nothing that could not be easily cleaned up. I was a bit disappointed that there were 2 black & 2 white sticks in the package as I do not use those colours often and would have preferred a couple of additional shades of other colours. However, for the price, they are of a nice quality & excellent value.

Arrived promptly.....But very very difficult to useHas a waxy coating and doesn't transfer color and leaves waxy lines on art work.

I love prang chalk! It is very deep in color and sticks well to ground surfaces. It’s very affordable and perfect for sidewalk chalk art. I recommend it for all street chalk artists out there!

Nice colors. Nice to work with. They are not dustless but there is less dust than with other pastels. My gripe with these is the storage. Trying to get the sticks out of the packaging is a game of tug o war. Putting them back is worse. I broke them when I tried to push them back into their slots. Storage is a big seller or deal killer for me. I have trouble with fine motor skills. How much space does the product need? How easy is it to use then clean up? The pastels get dirty if they aren't separated, so they need to stay in the box. I will probably leave these on the shelf while I use a product that is easier to handle.

I love working with chalk pastels. These have a vibrant colour and are great to work with. The colours blend very well.

These worked great, but at some point they just started to crack. It was ok though, the project I was working on was flexible so I was able to smudge some of its little pieces (when they cracked) to finish my project. I loved them, they were awesome.
