2nd year of use. Part of the tree stopped lighting up. Gave it away to goodwill.

Bought this for an elderly neighbor with a small space for decorating. It fit perfect on an end table and she loved it. The lights are very colorful and bright.

The tree itself was a perfect size. The problem with the two we purchased was that the batteries did not fit without forcing and then the battery door would not shut. One of the battery housings began smoking when we continued trying to get the batteries to fit. We did not return them nor did we ask for a refund but did write to the seller to advise of the issue but did not see a response.. We did not return due to having disposed of boxes and a couple of other personal issues that arose. We are aware this issue may simple have been rare as we hope it was/is

I'll fill you in on some problems in the ad and a few wrong answers from other reviewers. The one I received does NOT have detachable feet, it DOESN'T have several modes, and it DOESN'T have a variety of colors. Depending on your definition of several and variety. Red, green and blue in clumps, not randomly spaced are what you get. As for changing modes, you get flashing and off. I may have received a faulty one or not every-one recieves the same tree. One person said it needs 4 AA batteries, mine needed 3. So there. You have it. Buyer Beware.

This is a pretty tree for the price, and I’m very happy with it. It comes with bell and ball ornaments, but the balls are hard to keep on the tree. I bought a set of ornaments from Amazon and elsewhere that I think are perfect for it. I wanted the fiber optic one so that I wouldn’t have to contend with lights. The smaller the ornaments, the better because it’s difficult to hang them. The box says, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, which I thought was cute. This tree does not topple over, but you do have to be careful not to drop ornaments when you turn it off because the switch is at the bottom of the base. The batteries don’t stay in place easily.
