I wanted to try something new and really liked it. These are pretty long lasting and provide a very good heat with hardly any ash. Great coals. I will buy again.

These burn very clean and don't add any unwanted flavors to the smoke. Not very convenient to get started as they are not quick start, but you also don't have all of the chemicals that come with a quick start hookah. I typically light them by placing them on one of my electric stove eyes. That seems to work well. 10-15 minutes is about all it takes to get them started. Using a small hookah these easily last 2-3 hours.

This was a challenge to light and it took way to many tries and they never got hot enough to cook with
