These needles are great for embroidering with medium and bulky yarns! They make it easy to poke through stabilizer. The needle threaders make threading yarn so much easier too! I love that the packaging they come in also serves as a place to store them. Highly recommend!

I am a knitter and I am always losing my darning needles. When you need them, you need them. I did a search and Hooligan's needles were the first thing to pop up. I ordered two packages and am absolutely happy with the quality of the product. The threaders were a bonus. Yes, the needles are sharp, but not too sharp to split the yarn or poke your finger! Plus the sturdy cardboard case they came in makes it easier to keep track of the needles. Would make a nice stocking stuffing for my knitting friends. I highly recommend these needles.

I found these needles to be of great quality, durability, feel & design. Having taught elementary and middle school Art for twenty years, instructing students in yearly Embroidery Units, I have purchased, used, and field-tested countless numbers of embroidery needles. These are among the best I have purchased. The two sizes offered help to accommodate different yarn weights and types; while maximizing the maneuverability of various textiles. Just started hand embroidering sweaters and doing felt embroidery on shirts. Been following Little Hooligans for a while! These needles are amazing! Was able to easily stitch through felt!
