Beautiful sturdy puzzle with vivid colors and smooth thick wood finish. This was my daughter’s first puzzle and she thoroughly enjoys using it. It’s functional, just the right size for little hands that are learning dexterity and easy to use. What sold me on it were the sweet faces on the animals, adorable!

I love this puzzle and so do my grandbabies. My granddaughter is 2 and she loves dinosaurs. This puzzle is great because they wood pieces are made very well and they are very cute. The pieces are just the right size for little hands. I like how it has the picture of the dinosaurs on the puzzle to help her know where the pieces go. This has been great for her to learn colors too and the name of the dinosaurs. I just wish they had more puzzles to buy. I also got the zoo animals puzzle. It would be great to get a fish or sea life design, different cars design and one with different colors and shapes. If they had those I would buy them all. We'll made and a great buy for the cost. Ages range my 1 year old grandson loves the puzzle to and the pieces are a perfect size for his little hands. Please come out with more.

This puzzle is terrific quality! The paint stays on and both sides of the pieces are painted (adding a little challenge of which way does this go?), plus the outlines of the animal are on the board itself to help little ones figure it out. I'll be looking for more puzzles from this brand!

This PREXTEX Baby Chunky Wooden Puzzle for Toddlers comes with a sheet which says it is for ages 12+ months. The product page says it is for ages 18 months and up.This does not have the knobs on it like the other puzzles my 13 month old grandchild plays with so it is a little more difficult for her to get hold of the pieces so that she can get them into the puzzle.The pieces are made of a thick wood while the tray is not as thick. There is a drawing of each puzzle piece in the slot it fits into which helps match up the piece to its spot. However, the varnish in each slot is inconsistent and not as nice as the painted areas of the puzzle.The slots are a little larger than the puzzle pieces which is nice for a toddler as the pieces are easier to insert into the slot.
