We recently added a couple of baby guinea pigs to our herd, and one of them was so stressed out that she wasn't eating correctly. We had originally gotten this probiotic to keep on hand for when out piggies need a boost while taking antibiotics. If you're a piggy or bunny owner, you always need to keep critical care and benebac on hand for emergencies. So I decided to give this to my new piggies to give their gut a boost while they were adjusting to their new home. It worked because their poops returned to normal solid beans after a couple of days, and they're now eating normally.

Currently 4 stars will probably change over the next few weeks as Guinea pigs continue Baytril (antibiotic) and these probiotics. Lost 1 star as scoop was excluded, Directions were thorough enough so I knew I could use a 1/8 teaspoon scoop as a serving.Pros:-Clearly marked expiration date for 2027 (excellent)-Easy: Sprinkle on food-Piggies don't have an aversion to it-*600 servings (for 1 pig)-1 Billion CFU-Typically includes a small scoopCons-*Lack of brand recognition for company; otherwise, no known cons*Bene-bac is the known brand that Vets prescribe their furry/feathers patients. However, that is quite costly when it will only last 1 - 2 weeks depending on how many animals you have. The servings in this little cannister is significant at 600 servings. There were no reviews so I figured I would be the guinea pig for this probiotic...Our one piggy, Pigzilla aka Pirate Piggy, has had some challenges with infections since his eye was removed 2 years ago. He is back on Baytril and appears like he is feeling rotten. I can see his digestion is a bit of a mess so I am hoping the added probiotics course help. I should be able to re-address this review in a couple weeks.
