I'm 5"8" 160IBS and I feel a XL may be a bit to long on the legs as it gets very baggy around my ankles and pretty baggy around the arms as well.Probabky should have went with a large please lmk.

When I ordered this, I wasn't expecting the quality I actually received. The material is very rugged, and it was actually pretty comfortable although it was hot the day I used it which really can't be blamed on the suit. I used the suit to eradicate a large paper wasp nest that was located in my deer hunting platform stand. While I can account for only one of the hundreds of wasps actually attacking me, it hit somewhere on my torso, and I remained stinger free. There is a Velcro flap that comes down near the front neck where all the zippers converge. The ONLY suggestion I would make for improving the suit would be to punt Velcro on the sides of the flap as well as where they have it on the bottom so that in the even there's a gap in the zippers, the Velcro flap would still seal the suit.

I love this suit. It is well made, American made, (has a little flag on the shoulder and everything) and the zippers are big enough to take into consideration that you are in fact putting on a bee suit. I bought it to fight the inevitable yellow jackets at the door, and I just waded into them. Getting rid of them is pretty straight forward if you don't have to worry about getting stung, and this suit takes care of that concern. Pretty much all the nest-killing methods work once you locate or expose the nest, and can walk up to it. Two cautions. This suit is pretty heavy duty, so I doubt I could stay in it for eight hours working with honeybee hives in the hot sun. I spent about an hour in it. The second caution has to do with taking it off. BE SURE ALL THE YELLOW JACKETS ARE OFF THE SUIT BEFORE YOU START TAKING IT OFF. HAVE A SHOP VAC WITH SOAPY WATER IN IT HANDY BEFORE YOU START 'BEE FIGHTING', AND WHEN THE BATTLE IS OVER, VACUUM THEM OFF DILIGENTLY BEFORE UNDOING THE ZIPPERS!! I included that advice in this review because none of the internet experts brought it up.

Long story short, I'm 5-10 and athletic build and this suit was EXTREMELY tight on me with an XL. The suit is canvas which makes it hot when working with bees and vails screen mesh is wider than my new suit. I got stung 3 times through the suit, so I wouldn't really recommend this unless you need a cheap suit. If you do buy this please buy a size bigger.

i picked up the suit today and as soon as i got home i put it on and went to battle with the hive that was inside my garage i couldn't believe how much work they had done in a week they were pretty aggressive but i didn't get one sting in the 40 plus minutes i was working on this. i ordered the 4x and it barely fit me so i would order 2 times the normal size that you wear to make sure. anyway, great product! p.s.- this is the third time bees have invaded i live in the california high desert its just a matter of time before they come back i bought the suit because the estimates to remove them were outrageous so this was a pretty good investment.

I'm 205 lbs 6'0" with an approximate 38 " waist. I tried the 2XL suit on today and it fit me Perfectly 🥰. It even comes with 2 different types of gloves that fit my size large hands. The high quality of the cotton material, stitching, nylon zippers were Top Shelf! I eradicated two hornet nests today and no stings got me in my new suit!!! I'm thrilled to say the least! This company sells very good suits and I STRONGLY recommend them! No More Worries for me when eradication time comes around next time. PS. I just used my sneakers with socks for footwear.

Right upfront I have to recommend that you simply disregard the size chart and order your normal size. I'm 6' and 225 lbs and, according to the size chart, even the small would be too big for me. I normally wear 2XX shirts and jackets but I've lost some weight lately so XL ofen works. The size chart is WAY off. I realized that something was seriously wrong with it so I just ordered a XXL. It fits fine but I have to wiggle a bit to get my shoulders into the suit. Once in, however, and it fits just fine. I was going to order the same company's double layer bee suit but it would have taken too long for delivery. But since this suit is a single layer and I had a dangerous nest of yellow jackets right near our door, I wore denim pants underneath and a very ruggend outdoor long sleeve shirt underneath. The first time I work it, we were in a heat wave over 100 degrees F so it was hot. But as the number of yellow jackets decreased during my war with them, I started wearing the suit with just my underwear and a T-shirt underneath and that worked find and was cool and comfortable. I've worn it every day while battling with the yellow jackets and I haven't received a single sting even from some giant hornets of some type that seem to nest with the smaller yellow jackets. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm glad that I ignored the sizing chart.

I find the face netting to set too close to face- wore a baseball cap to push face net further way- works better but then its even hotter-Take the time to be sure all zippers are closed tight!!
