Be ready for a trade off in comfort for the control of planting your feet on the ground. I'm short and bought the top heavy Kawasaki Nomad. These shocks lowered the seat height 2 inches, but no more floating over pot holes. Bought the Nomad for superior comfort over my 900. Now it's really not much better of a ride, comfort wise.

Best money I have spent on my bike so far,(94 Honda vt1100c). Got the front springs at the same time .If you are over 200 lbs., ,go with the heavy duty version.
