The stock rear suspension on my 2011 Triumph Rocket 3T is soft, even on full pre-load. I don't hate it, but it feels like riding in a big Caddy; soft, a bit bouncy, very slow dampening response. I can ride for hours like this if the roads are good, but on bad roads it gets sketchy at times. I read good things about this series of shocks for my big touring moto. Also, they are affordable and available on Amazon. I ordered the HD version because I am a big person and will be hauling luggage at times.The install is about as easy as anything you can do on a moto. It's only 2 bolts per shock and easy to reach. Anyone can handle this job.The result is an improvement over stock, especially in dampening over bumps and on wavy roads. I don't feel like I'm going to be thrown off my bike on unexpected dips at speed. I know there are much more expensive shocks available, and maybe those with Roadster version might need that level of tech, but for touring these seem to be a good improvement so far. Hopefully they will hold up over time, too.

got the shocks faster then the delivery date. And had no problem putting them on my bike. the CO.(Progressive Suspension) help me get the right one's for my bike.
