These spigots work great and fit the igloo 5 gallon. The only downside is if someone with a heavy thumb or finger pushes too hard on the button (I don't know why you need to press or push hard, it's very easy to press or push, but it happened on my first spigot replacement) it will leak from the button.

Easy to replace and no tools required. The outer flange broke off the original Igloo water cooler. This stopped it from leaking and works great.

I went to use my cooler and it leaked all over the place, on party day. UGH! I got on Amazon to order another cooler since we do use it, quite a bit in the summer. Low and behold, I saw these bad boys.....I HAD NO IDEA that you could replace the spigot! These arrived quickly and they were easy to replace and so far, so good! NO LEAKS!!! I am dumbfounded, and I shouldn't be. lol

WORKED WELL ON MY RUBBERMAID 5 GALLON COOLER. HAD TO USE WRENCH TO TIGHTEN THE NUT INSIDE AS BY HAND IT WAS NOT TIGHT ENOUGH AND IT HAD A SLOW LEAK WHEN I FIRST FILLED IT.

Unfortunately the spigot replacement is leaking out the spout with a slow drip.Also no matter how much we tighten it it is also leaking from where it connects to the outside of the container as it is hard plastic not rubber. We have tried two and it is the same for both. Very dissapointed.
