The lid in the advertisement is a dark blue. I received a bowl with a light blue lid. I’m considering returning it because it doesn’t match my other Pyrex bowls with Dark blue lids.

I love these for pasta dishes and soups. They hold a good amount and you can put hot food into it. Easy to clean in the dishwasher also. Worth the price!

I had this exact same bowl and cover for many years. It was well-loved until it was accidentally dropped in the sink and it broke. :-( I loved using this bowl for many things such as serving a salad and also as a large mixing bowl when baking or making a meatloaf, just to name a few. I was very happy to see that it is still being made and I immediately ordered a new one. I’m just as happy with it as I was with my old one. It seems just as sturdy and goes through the dishwasher with ease. I do recommend hand-washing the cover, which can warp in the dishwasher.
