My old Pyrex 8-oz measuring cup cracked after decades of use and rather than go with another brand I knew I needed to choose Pyrex again. These measuring cups are great for everyday kitchen tasks and I especially appreciate that the handles do not conduct heat, which is convenient for heating in the microwave. Pyrex sets the standard for kitchen measuring equipment!

Solid Pyrex item. Tough measuring cup with good weight and glass thickness. Stacks well if you stagger handles with your other glass measurement items. Good price. Size is good for most needs. Glass is smooth so liquids or other material don’t stick to glass.

Strong clear glass with clear accurate markings. Works best for liquids, can be used for dry ingredients in a pinch. No worry about spilling liquid as you don't fill to the brim. Can handle hot liquids unlike plastic measuring cups. Difficult to pour if you pour too fast or tip it too far.Tip the cup till the liquid is reaching the lip, and then gently keep tilting it to pour. When in a hurry, make sure the entire cup is over your pot/bowl, so any spillage is caught.
