Let me first say, that Surron, Talaria and others are Shimano-based brake systems. That means that these pads fit all modern Shimano and Shimano-based 4-piston calipers. I personally mounted them on my Shimano XT MTB calipers. These are sold under different brand names, but the Quickwolf version is nicely-priced for 2x sets (front or rear). These are METAL pads and so expect slightly more louder braking (because it's got metal chunks in it) but they are better in wet-conditions and longer-lasting performance. The pads are a full 2mm thick, so last a while. If you want super-quiet, you don't ride in wet or rain and you are ok to change pads more often, then get resin/organic pads -- they are softer and bite nicely.Anyway, these pads are good for the price, although not top-performance because they don't have fins and are steel-backed. But considering top Shimano-style finned, aluminum-backed pads are double or even triple the price, it's fine unless you are racing. Note that these have a full 2mm thick backing, so can be hard to install as it's very tight unless the pistons are pushed all the way in. First, get a large flathead screwdriver, turn it and push the pistons flush. I inserted the spring afterwards with needllenose pliers as it was too tight to install along with the pads (my rotor may be thicker than typical).

These pads are basically the same ones you get with the Surron or Talaria out of the box. After using them, I can confirm that they are the same as OEM. They feel just like the original ones. The stopping power is good enough but not the best and if you're riding really hard or racing, you probably don't want these pads. They are very reasonably priced so I won't hold it against them too much. They are generic stock pads with mediocre stopping power. Its good enough for the Surron or Talaria but they are not performance pads or racing spec.Overall, these are fine pads. If you want a real performance improvement, you should consider the Shimano H03C brake pads. Those are by far the best Surron brake pads and they actually significantly improve stopping performance. But the Shimano pads cost twice as much as these ones so there is the trade off. They also don't last as long as these pads.I would recommend these pads if you're looking to replace your OEM brake pads with the same thing. They are not high performance pads but they get the job done and are very affordable. The best thing about these is the price.
