The smallest setting was still too big for any door frame in my house, almost fell down. You cannot adjust the fit of the device.

This will NOT FIT on a 4.5", 5.5", or 6" door jam, pretty much any size common in the US. I'm not sure where this was designed but you would need unusually thick walls for it to fit. NOT AS ADVERTISED. Pony up another $30 and get the Jayflex ones.

These are super unstable.Doorframe is about 6 inches and holding onto the foam handle makes the bar slip out from the door.Had super high hopes as was let down immensely.

I know very little about gym equipment but do know enough to say with confidence that this is substantial and will surely hold up for the long haul.__I chose this for my 13 year old GRANDson who has started to workout more with gym equipment to build muscle for participation in various sports__If using this as a pull up bar, be sure to do as the listing states to measure the door frame it will be placed upon as it will need to be able to withstand the stress of having a pull up bar added to it plus possibly having a monkey -(I mean a GRANDboy) hanging from it. SMILES Seriously, be safe__Options for this being more than a pull up bar include using it placed on the floor for doing push ups as well as placed under a door for doing sit ups. Note To Self. Insert Eye Rolls Here.__Seriously, this equipment looks and feels like good quality equipment and will surely be a positive means of strength training and I would certainly choose this again

These are perfect for a home gym. They are sturdy and can be adjusted to any width you are comfortable with.

These are well made and of quality. The grips are great. They have a great weight to them so they will hold up well I feel.So far, the only door these work on are the door on the garage as it has enough lip to hold the bars. Even though the ones in the house are the measurements needed, the lip on top wasn't wide enough to hold them. So, we plan on buying new upper trim for the door we want to put this on.In the meantime, we have used it under the door for sit up and on floor for push up and it works great for those as well.It held up well on garage door for my 225 lb son. But since it's wintertime and we just had a snowstorm, the temps are not warm enough for a whole workout on them. So, off to buy some trim and matching paint to get this baby in the house for pull ups.

Very disappointed especially for 80 bucks. The product will not properly grab onto a 6 inch door jam dispite the description indicating it will work with smaller. As if the inside rubber edges are not deep enough. I can get it to stay put but even just a little bit of movement causes them to completely slip out, I can't trust that for chin ups. Save your money or buy something else.

Specs indicate these work for a 5-7" door jam, but my door jam is 5.5" and they do not hold. My guess is you need at least a 6" door jam. Frustrating that the information provided is incorrect.
