The Type R232A is an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed regulator designed for LP-gas (propane) systems. The unit is designed to reduce the tank pressure to an Outlet pressure of 11 inches Water Column through an integral two-stage system. Designed for installations with small domestic loads. The units compact size makes it ideal for tight fit applications. The first-stage Screened drip-lip vent is oriented downward and the second-stage vent is oriented over the Outlet as standard.

I got this to replace the 250 gallon tank that was leased and to use a smaller tank that I purchased for my home. This regulator services all my propane appliances in my home with no issues. I would recommend this as an option to having a gas company do your propane service.

I ordered this regulator to use with 2 100 lb propane tanks in a structure that has a propane heater and gas cooktop. I had been using an LP regulator for gas grills but was having issues with it maintaining correct pressure to appliances as outside temperatures changed. This new regulator is adjustable and is working well.

As described. Good packaging. Using on a 100 gallon propane tank for a single direct vent fireplace. It screws directly to the pigtail on the tank. I used an adaptor to make it up to the 3/8” copper tube flare fitting that feeds the fireplace. It is easier in my low demand application than using separate first and second stage regulators.
