This kit appears to be the same as the Gezee brand on Amazon, came in the same box with different brand sticker. Strong and stable conversion to hang pendant lights. Use an awl or sharp punch and hammer to puncture the light canister before using the “self-tapping” screws. Installation is a cinch from there. The white trim ring is large enough to cover the 6” hole of the recessed can light. 2 Pack is an incredible value, but I only received 1

It was a little difficult to install due to having a hard time getting the so called self tapping screws to tap, but once I drilled small holes in the can light, I was able to install the screws and the conversion kit. It is so cool to be able to convert can lights to pendants and then back to can lights. It functions as intended and adds stylistic flexibility to the kitchen in my new house. I'll be ordering more of these.

I ended up using this kit to replace an old, ugly recessed light in the bathroom for a larger flush mount ceiling light, and it worked well. Installation was straight forward, and it feels sturdy and secures the light well. I didn't need the medallion for this particular installation, but it would work well and look good for any sort of hanging lights. I recommend this as a cost-effective and simpler way to convert old recessed lights

This Tibio recessed can light conversion kit worked exactly as needed. I used it to install a small, lightweight ceiling fan over my bed — this one from Amazon: DIAMONDFORGE 20" Flush Mount Crystal & White Low Profile. We never used the can light, so repurposing the space made sense. The kit feels solid, installed securely, and held the fan without any issue. Instructions were clear, and it came with all the parts I needed. Great solution for anyone looking to convert an unused recessed light into something more useful. It's a good product and my wheels are turning on where I can adapt more of the can lights to nicer fixtures or fans. The hardest part is screwing in the self-tapping screws and that's pretty easy if you have a good drill/driver and a 6" long Phillips bit.

I followed the directions it included and it was quite easy to install. I didn't want to drill or make anymore holes so I tried to mount the L brackets to existing holes which was a bit tricky, but it ended up working out for the better as the recessed light opening was off-center and the way I mounted it made it less off. The cover plate was also big enough so it covered everything well. I am happy with how things turned out and I would definitely purchase another kit if I ever need to retrofit any of the other recessed lights in my home!
