I have a 2002 TJ wrangler with a 2" lift (33's all around). My previous setup was with KYB's and they actually caused cupping on my front tires. These Rancho's completely changed the quality of the ride and even helped smooth-out the effect the cupping had on high-speed vibration. Would highly recommend!

Easy install. Very nice quality and all the hardware included. Liking the red boots. Really improved the ride quality of a 2001 Jeep TJ with a 2” lift and 31” tires.

Shocks ride great for a budget shock, only thing I dislike is the plastic shock boot compared to the rubber one they use to use.

I don't think I have had my RS5000 shocks installed on my Jeep for more than 5 years and I had a failure of the right rear shock (last picture - dirty shock). Since I can not fins a receipt, I had to purchase a new one - which have since been upgraded. The original had no boot, the new one does - while it is plastic and not rubber. That does concern me due to the close location of the exhaust to the shock boot. The size and inelastic properties of the shock boot also makes it more difficult to get to the bolts above. The images are from a video I shot, but it is more boring than watching sand heat up in a mid day sun. The shock seems to work just fine. I will be out in the trails in a week, so hopefully I won't have any failure. It does fit and work, but that boot just makes it a little fun to install. Specifically the bolt nearest the frame rail.
