Used on my uncle's 2001 Buick Park Avenue that got thru multiple inspection years with no working parking brake. Cutting out the old cables I found the old cable connectors to be ready to break due to rust, so a new equalizer bracket and cable connectors had to be ordered. Since this year car had heavy rusting, I would order these if your car is old as well. The Raybestos BC9478 cables looked short until I pulled the main parking brake cable under the car, rearwards and pinned the cable with vice grips. Then there was enough free play to connect the cables together. These cables are OEM quality at a great price.
