I have used this receiver box for several runs in my rc boat, and it has been waterproof... The key is properly putting the receiver in the box and placing the o-ring cover gasket and silicone rubber wire retainer in the box properly to keep water out of the box...Fairly simple and straight forward installation to prevent your receiver from getting wet or having other contaminants get to it...
