The supplied screws are flat head and too long. I had my own socket head cap screws of shorter length and the fit is tight and secure. The Velcro strap provided is the perfect length no matter the battery size used.

Strap broke after maybe 3 battery packs. The aluminum mounts seem to be fine though.

The aluminum pieces fit well in my maxx slash. The screws included were beveled to help with the factory look. The Velcro strap did good but it did break at the clasp after a decent crash coming off a jump. I just bought a new strap and was back in business.

Fits great, easy to install and works great. Not much else to say about it. Makes the battery holder much more resilient to abuse and adds a little flair. A little pricey for what it is, but the hobby isn't cheap.

If you looking for a new battery hold down for your 1:10/1:8 scale rc, give these a try. I’m doing a red theme on my Traxxas rustler and this goes right with everything. Red anodize color looks great and is durable. Very happy with this set and will buy more in the future when I need a new battery hold down.

I bought this for my 6s max slash and although the tie downs work I can’t even use the Velcro strap because it’s to small. The product says that it fits both the Sledge and the Max Slash but it definitely doesn’t fit
