5 months after purchase i was opening the window and left hinge just cracked. Installed new struts when I installed the hinges, no other defects than the part.

This was a perfect fit and replacement part we needed for 2003 Ford Explorer. Required two people to install but is doing the job and seems secure!

I work at a body shop, and out price for OEM, is $80 a hinge plus tax. Now can’t go wrong for this price. It’s darker than the original and made of a different material, but it gets the job done.

Exact fit, easy to install assuming you follow the proper installation,,,which of course I did not! I caused myself extra work and made what would have been easy and fast much more difficult because I tried to skip a step, bad idea. However even with that very doable for almost anyone and fit perfectly! Oh and very fast shipping, Thank you

Took a little while to install, but with the help of a deep pocket socket wrench and a YouTube tutorial, these new hinges work like a charm. No problems at all so far.

The replacement hinges work and fit great. They are also easy to install. Be sure to remove the gas shocks prior to replacing the hinges. Also, the nut that attaches to the body of the vehicle is much smaller than the original part, so use a magnetic socket to prevent it from falling into vehicle panel. I learned the hard way...

Over all a great product.Pro:Came quickly and as advertised.Cons:Are more vehicle related. I'll explain below.I have a 2004 mercury mountaineer. AWD.I had one screw break on my old hinge and so purchased this product.A match to my old ones.Make sure you match up left and right to the old left and right hinges. As well as that it fits your year, make, and model.I suggested replacing them one at a time.Easy to do myself. I have basical problem solving and mechanic skills. Just be careful with the glass. It can be difficult with the weight of the glass and plus hydraulics. The cons I experienced was making sure the glass latch locked into place so that way my vehicle didnt read that the lifegate hatch was open. I just had to position the glass where if shut right. There is some wiggle room were the screws hold the glass.

Fit just fine. Could be marked a little clearer with the left & right though.

Very pleased after install. Fit perfectly. These do not have any of the issues some of the other products had listed in their reviews. Great surface finish, heavy duty casting, all parts were included. Don't loose the nuts that come with them, they are different than the OEM hinges (M6 instead of 1/4"). Only time will tell how long the pins will last before breaking and/or corroding. The pins looked to be the exact same size as the OEM part which was too small, but perhaps they are made of a better material.
