used these to replace the hinges in a 2002 Escape.I cannot say it was the hinges fault, but golly was it a chore to swap them out. Get a buddy, cause you're gonna need at least four hands.Not a bash on the hinges, they seem strong. But I found the procedure to swap them was quite the challenge. You have to fight the weight of the window, and the pneumatic plungers that hold it up, but once you overcome that....Once installed, they seem solid. I'm not sure how the manufacturers of these could have made it any easier given what Ford built in 2002.Bottom line, they do fit perfectly.... eventually.

I’ve bought probably four or five sets of these. They were great for the Ford escape the Mazda tribute in the mercury mariner they are all the same. Just make sure you get the ones for your vehicle. They are exactly the same they work great I use them four or five times now, and have no problems with them. Don’t try to overtighten them and make sure you read the instructions or watch a video, great product

Seems ok no instructions and comes with odd spacers that wouldn't fit because threads are so short they wouldn't engage

Just remember this is an aftermarket item. Did the job on our 2005 Mercury Mariner, but not an exact fit.
