This light has some impressive battery life. I set it on the brightest setting and it stayed fully bright for around 6 hours, and then it started to dim but it was still on. Around 19 hours passed and, while the light was very dim - so dim that it actually made a really good nightlight at that point, it was still running.I do think the lowest setting on full charge is too bright to be a nightlight, especially one as shown being right beside you in the bed. Maybe in the opposite corner of the room if you're wanting something to really light up the space. However in regards to that it certainly can't replace a lamp as far as lighting goes.It's a cute light, very responsive to touch, and would make a nice aesthetic piece but not very practical unless you need kind of a bright nightlight.

This is such a cute little night light. I keep at the changing table for night changes. It is a bit brighter than I expected, but not bright enough to throw off my night vision. It's very sensitive, so dropping something nearby will switch the settings. But I find that helpful when I have my hands full. I don't keep this on all night, just when I need it. With that, it will last quite a few days before it needs to be charged. I also found it helpful that it starts to dim when the battery needs to be charged.
