Changing just this bushing took most of the slop out of my worn shifter. It had side to side and up and down play. I changed it all from above with a few small slot screwdrivers a a small and large needle nose pliers foe the metal clip. It went well and took about an hour.

BMW e39 528i 5spd shift linkage was sloopy. The crown/bushing worked perfect.

Arrived on a Sunday as promised! Original bushing broke on a Friday. Car was back on the road by Sunday. It was a perfect fit and the shifter is now better than before.
