OMG this is such a simple yet useful device. I have been painting most of my life and I have need seen this before, it's always been a second ladder and plank. This is super small to move around (especially when you consider walking up a flight of stairs with two ladders in the way). It takes almost no time to change up for stair heights (used it in several newer home with no adjustments at all). All while being solid, grippy and probably safer than my old method. The width is large enough for my ladders I use inside and the grip on the bottom grabs nicely without scratch the finish on wood floors. One of those things where i'm like "Where were you all my life?"Can't recommend high enough - awesome.

This ladder leveler is an amazing addition to our DIY arsenal! We have two sets of stairs in our home where it is impossible to change the light bulbs. Now we don't have to worry about sketchy maneuvers to change them! We also need to paint in these areas and have avoided doing so because there's never been a safe way to paint. Well, now there is!The ladder leveler is pretty easy to assemble and use. Once assembled, you just use the long bolt to lock it into place once it's adjusted to the needed height. It's not too large and stores away pretty easily in its box. It's quite useful, and I feel it's worth the investment.

You often need to put ladders in inconvenient places around the house when working, this makes it a lot safer and stable. The leveler is very solidly made, and has high ridges so your ladder can't go over the edge with this. It adds a lot of peace of mind. This is specifically designed for stairs, where it works well of course. But it also works great in other uneven situations. It does take time to setup, but safety is well worth it.

I got this ladder leveler for two purposes: to clean the gutters on the back of the house where the ground slope from side to side, and for painting the stairwell. This device isn't the quickest to set up with the bolts and nuts, but it's worth the time invested to get it right. This is the first time I've felt remotely secure cleaning my gutters -- it's a miracle I haven't gotten hurt in the past. And our stairwell hasn't been painted in far too long because there was no safe way for me to access everything, now that job is done. Overall, it's heavy gauge metal and I always felt safe once I had everything set up.

I have done some pretty dumb things over my 41 years in regards to ladders and stairwells. I'm not sure how I haven't died leaning far out, standing unbalanced, creating unlevel platforms, etc... This stair ladder leveler is a game changer when it comes to safety ragarding ladders and stairs. Put the ladder leveler on the stair, adjust it to a level height of your stair, then put your ladder on and you have a safe, level platform to work from. It is very sturdy and it has not slipped on me so far. It is fairly easy to install and adjust with just a turn of a bolt and wing nut. The leveler comes with everything needed in tbe box to install and adjust it aftewards. It has good, clean and sturdy welds giving you confidence that it will not buckle with you while you are 12' high in a stairwell. I should've bought one of these ealier!

First of all - if you are a contractor, or a handy man, you will eventually need this ladder add on - no doubt about it. If you are a siding contractor, HVAC tech, plumber or electrician by trade - get this. You need it, and probably already know you do since you are reading this reveiw. I have built several custom models in my time as a contractor - out scrap of 2"x8" piece laying around. But they are always a touch sketchy, and make me a little nervous when I use them. This solves that fear with ease. The ladder platform is extremely beefy - as soon as you feel it you realize that you will not have any issues with it buckling under your weight. I bet you could run this over with a truck and it wouldn't bend.. Although I am not going to test that - since I love this tool. The only reason I deducted a star is the cumbersome nature of adjustment. The unit uses long 1/4' bolts, with wing nuts. The manufacture could used pins with a cotter pin instead of bolts. The bolts are most likely going to get damaged in time from inserting in and out to adjust for random rise heights in stairs. This is especially true with contractors that will most likely toss this in the work truck/trailer and re-adjust differently for every job. If you are a home owner, then you will most likely set the height once for your stairs and never mess with it again.Another tip for the manufacture - please make this become foldable with a hing pin at the top connection. That would make this item 6 stars.Overall, I am extremely glad I have this in my ladder trailer, next to my ladder jacks. This will be one of those tools that will be invaluable each time it is needed.

The Reovatio Adjustable Ladder Leveler is a great tool. I had to use unusual and a little unsafe procedures to work in the shelf area over the attic stair door. I installed a shelf above the door and put camera DVR, Wifi switches, Alarm system UPS and a rats’ nest of wiring on the shelf. It was very hard to get to but this device solved that problem. It is a heavy galvanized steel ladder platform. You have to install five bolts with wing nuts to assemble it. It is sturdy if adjusted properly; make sure it is level. I know I assembled it differently than the picture in the listing but that is how the instructions showed it. I think the picture in the listing is the right way but it works either way. I like this device and highly recommend.
