I should have ordered this part when I replace the fan motor, I mean it was right next to the motor. Now the freezer is back to normal.

It's been about a month since I installed this item and it did the trick. The previous original part was clearly, visually, broken and my refrigerator is running as intended. I'll try to circle back to give a better indication of longevity.

This part did not work. We ordered the same part from a non-Amazon site and that one worked. We would like a refund on this defective part.

Shipped fast. My freezer was working fine, but my fridge area was getting warm about 60 deg. Freezer had ice build up on the coils. replaced this little thing. Took overnight for temps to get to normal.

The original thermostat cap broke apart and was visibly corroded. This was an exact replacement with pre-wired plugs which was just what I was looking for as my fridge already uses these plug connectors. I have a frigidaire gallery. The thermostat was only half of my problem tho, I later found a piece of foam from the back cover was lodged in the compressors cooling fan. Fixed that and replaced the thermostat and fridge is running like it was new.
