I can’t say anything about the actual install, as I made someone else do it, but it works perfect. We purchased it to replace a joystick on a post warranty accidental broken switch lite and it’s installed and used with no issues.

The plastic tweezers ended up breaking a piece of a clip, that held the ribbon to the mother board. It's such a delicate procedure when you change the joy con, so don't use the plastic tweezers. Needle nose , metal tweezers would be better

I was pleased with the product. It came as described and also appeared to be good quality. No issues with that. My problem with the product is that the skill level to disassemble the switch, and replace, and reinstall all parts is a very technical job. Most people not familiar with electronics would have an extremely difficult time replacing. I would suggest to purchase the product and try to find an electronics repair person to repair who is qualified - if not you may be throwing away a controller you can't put back together properly.

Product works great once put into the controller. Would have liked if written instructions with visuals were included though to make sure product was being installed properly. Provided tools were great and helped with ease of installation.

Works well, still has a little drift but overall fixed the problem. Gave a 4 instead of a 5 because the plastic tweezers were pretty flimsy for the job but worked ok.

The replacement joystick worked perfect and still does several weeks later. The necessary tools are included and it even came with some joystick covers. The joysticks are black and not the same color as the original joysticks. I recommend these replacement joysticks because of the included tools, the black joysticks and most of all it still works great.It wasn’t hard to replace but I would recommend watching a video on how to replace the joysticks. Taking the Nintendo Switch Lite apart could be technical for some people.My original joystick had no issues until I dropped my Nintendo Switch Lite and snapped the joystick off.
