These are tiny and undersized for my pond filter. States that they will expand once soaked in water, but they did not. They are just small.

When these arrived, they looked far too small for our pond filter. They were the right color (same as the old ones), but looked far too small. My wife wisely said "it says right here in the directions what to do with them", which is definitely not what I do first. Wet them, give them a day or so, and they "grew" to the proper size, matching our old ones perfectly. Notches all in the correct place, easy installation - just replace the old ones - now keeping our koi pond clear.
