A little mat that has a built in temp controller, I got it to use as an incubator temperature controller & it has been keeping a set temp, better than running just a straight plug in mat, its well made & the controls offer a timer or not & I needed continual heat so that was important, the digital readout is clear & the buttons to control it easy to read & use. the temp remains visible with with illuminated readout that's not over bright. easy to set up & use anywhere, I have it on an insulated pad with a small plastic box & tortoise eggs at 87...its been working great, 3 months to go.

This heating pad makes things easy since it already comes with a thermostat controller and probe built-in. It also comes with adhesive tape so it can be mounted on the side of the tank if needed. I installed it under the end of my snake's cage and checked its accuracy using a laser thermometer. It was spot-on, so this pad has precise heat control and is ideal for creating a warm basking area for any reptile.

Great heat mat, especially for the price. It's easy to use and install. The thermostat is an added bonus and this mat heats evenly while producing a descent amount of heat. The thermostat gives you added safety when using the mat.

One thing I LOVE about this heat pad is the built in thermometer to regulate the temperature. Much better than the other reptile heating pads I got for the same price but had to buy an additional thermometer regulator. Now the downside is that this thing took forever to get to a hot temperature. I would leave it on all day with a small plastic bin on it containing 4inches of dirt for my Rankins Dragon female to drop her eggs and even though it was set to 90, the probe was sitting at the very bottom of the bin, it never got to even low 80s by end of day. I accidentally had it plugged into the strip with their lights that turn off overnight. I put the plug in the always on, jacked up the temp, let it just run (without her in it) and checked a few days later and it finally read 103. Not sure how long it took to get there because I had kind of gave up on it. The room temp was probably lower 70s. I think this will be fine for smaller enclosures if it's kept always on. I think I'll put it on the side of the Pixie Frogs glass tank once my Rankins drops her eggs. Value for money is always subjective but given you don't have to buy 2 products to provide temp and control it, it's definitely worth it. Very easy to program and use. Functional other than how long it took to get to a higher temp. Size on the smaller side but that's fine if you use it for smaller enclosures (think 10 to 20 gallon at most). I was going to take 2 stars off for frustration with the temp but I may have been expecting too much possibly. The fact you can control and monitor temp in one product earned back a star.

This heat pad with thermostat is a good addition to one of my reptile terrariums. So easy to install, set up and use. Great size for under tank heating. The thermostat keeps the heat steady and the temperature registers accurate via my temp gun. So far so good, no complaints here. This heat pad and thermostat are a handy combo that function great together. For the pricepoint, this is a great deal⭐

This reptile heating pad is similar in material and build as others I have purchased (the more expensive, "name brand"). It gets plenty warm and the heat is even across the pad, as tested with a laser thermometer.I really like the internal thermostat feature since I have a ball python. They are cute and charming, but not always smart enough to move away from something that gets too hot too suddenly and are at risk for burns, which can be fatal.So I will probably continue to use my external thermostat as a back up, but it's nice to have two levels of safety. The temp setting function was easy enough with the directions, I've seen much worse.While it has an adhesive side that seems sticky enough, I've never found heating pad stickiness to last, at least when on the bottom of the enclosure, so I always place an oven mitt or oven pad in between the heater and the surface underneath. This protects the table or counter surface as well as keeping the heat snug and even against the surface of the enclosure.Over time, I've found that heating devices fall into one of two categories- they'll either fail within the first month or two or they last like 15 years, there send to be no in between, lol. So I will report back if either the heating element or thermostat function goes out prematurely in the next couple months.

This heating mat comes with a built in thermostat (via a temperature probe) and temperature control as well as some double sided mounting tape to keep the mat in place wherever you put it. I actually ordered this mat with the intention of using it for seed starting, and the precise temperature control will definitely come in handy for it. It's easy to use and heats up within a few minutes. There's also options to either have the mat stay on or turn on for X amount of hours every day at the same time.

At the time of this review this item was priced at $29.99.The package included ONE Heating Pad Thermostat/Timer and roll of adhesive tape. The pad measurement: 8"x12". The instructions are printed on the pad.The heating pad is accurate and the built-in timer is a bonus. The cord (12" long) is to short to rest the controller on the table. I had to tape the controller on the table leg to prevent it from dangling on the floor.
