If you like to torture yourself this kit is for you. Welds are good, but pipes are full of gunk, no manual on what pipes to direct, t bolt clamps are no good, just looking through the intercooler core with a flashlight I know off of that it will heat soak, had to drill new holes in the beam to align everything. Save the money on a better kit. Your car deserves better!

I've installed a few front mount kits on Subaru's, and this one is ok. This went on my personal 2008 WRX Sedan. You get what you pay for. The actual intercooler is constructed well, good quality and the welds are nice. It was a good fit. The bumper beam seems a bit weak in my opinion, but also fits pretty good. The tubes and clamps are what I have an issue with.First off, I was pretty upset to notice that all of these 2.5" tubes were loaded with metal shavings. Every single one. MAKE SURE to clean the tubes out thoroughly. I ended up using degreaser and hitting them with a pressure washer, then blowing off with compressed air. My other issue with the tubes, was the quality of the welds. Obviously not welded by the same guy that built the intercooler lol. Eventually I'm going to build my own tubes because these are pretty terrible. The clamps are also pretty flimsy and weak for a T-style clamp. As mentioned in some other reviews, you will also need to have some gasket-making material available, and cut your own gasket for the turbo flange. Also, expect to trim the bumper quite a bit to clear the tubes and intercooler. All together, this is a good kit to buy if you have the extra time to spend on the install. I almost gave it a 3, but overall I'm happy with it. Good luck.

Good option for the price. Install was easy, Tbolt clamps are not good quality (bought some Vibrant ones), piping need cleaning prior install due to metal flakes/residues inside. Car dyno'ed 375hp on 93 oct with GT3076R. Tuner told I would need a better IC Core if I wanted more power since this one heats up pretty bad after 1rst dyno pass.

It worked as it said there isn't any instructions but I got it to work mine came with the couple the other 2 guys were missing so they must have just thrown it in the only reason why I gave it 4 stars is where one of the pipes went down it wouldn't really fit with my washer fluid tank mine is a 2009 Subaru WRX. BUY THIS ITS WORTH IT

I've had this on my car for about a week now looks awesome sounds awesome!I gave this 4 stars cause you will have to buy more stuff to get this to work right and there is no Instructions ..Save yourself some time buy a 2.5 to 2.0 90 Hose for the turbo end.. Even with that you will have to seal it so you don't have any leaks I used gasket maker sealant.. Allso buy some Mr gasket so you can make a gasket cause this does not come with one..all and all you really can't beat this I've spent about 600 on this with a new Bov & Throttle body hose An hose/gasket.. I will update this once my car is tuned

Don't get discouraged! There's 2 additional tubes for a sti if you are installing on a wrx.As the above reviewer stated, you will need a elbow reducer. Also a 2" clamped to lock it down. You will also need new bolts and nuts (2) to put a bpv or bov on.It's not a $1500 kit, but with that said, it works and sounds mean combined with other mods!Gave it 4 for the same reason as the first reviewer and it's a bit of a pain in the butt. You will have to cut your bumper up also...Good luck
