Design of the hard plastic guards was good, but the removable pads kept slipping off when trying to put them on, and the velcro attachments were so strong that it was very difficult to put them on or take them off, as the straps would stretch beyond the guards and get tangled, further pushing the pads out of place and out of the plastic guards.
