I bought these boots based on the reviews and the fact that they were on sale. The feedback was correct that they run a little small. I ordered a half size up and was concerned with the width when I first put them on, but they broke in quickly and are ridiculously comfortable after only a few hours. They are bad ass looking boots for riding. The zipper also makes putting them on a pleasure. I highly recommend these boots!
Very good

Pros:Leather seems okay as do the soles.Cons:Ridiculously narrow, far too small an opening at the bottom of the calf so cannot get my normal size foot in without extreme pain, ordered a 9.5 wide but the actual inside measurement is for an 8.5 medium! These, as well as all the other boots I've tried made in 'you know where' have an insanely low over-arch area that crushes the top of the foot and cuts off blood circulation.Even the heal is stupidly narrow and not meant for an adult male foot. Some tips for the makers of these and other boots; human foot bones do not compress by three sizes, human males have feet wider than a child's or a very slim woman's, human male heels are not 2 inches wide, the top of the foot is aparently far taller than you seem to think it is, and 9.5 Wide is actually 9.5 Wide meaning WIDE not NARROW!No we will not order a pair of boots 1 to 2 sizes too long for our feet to flop around in length-wise just to make them fit the actual width of our feet! Conclusion:I am returning these the same day they arrived, 5 pair of boots or shoes from 5 different makers! This is absolutely unacceptable! Every pair were far too small, except one which were supposed to be boots but were actually high-top sneakers pretending to be boots. One pair were from a very famous maker and they were so far off that there was no way to get a foot inside only a hand if put in sideways, so ankle length boot mittens rather than for feet! I give up trying to find normal sized shoes/boots on Amazon there is no point in even looking!

These boots are awesome. They have very nice leather on the uppers and the vamps and seem to be very well made. I was pleasantly surprised for the price. They look great! The fit seems to run just a bit small. I normally wear a size 12 and that is what I ordered. They are just a bit snug if I wear heavy socks. Not to the point of being uncomfortable, but snug nonetheless. It would be nice if it were offered in a 12 wide size. I think that would be the way to go. At any rate, They are nice kickers that look awesome!

Got these for my husband. They were on sale and had great reviews. Shipping was fast. Great quality boots and is true to size. Most reviews stated to size up but we didn’t need too!

Im very happy like the zipper for high instep the lining comfortable and you can walk around in them without your feet killing you. Only thing is get some black shoe polish leather is soft so toes of boot could get scuffed.😄👍

Shopping for boots or shoes is often challenging for me because I have a fallen arch on one side which makes all day comfort elusive for me. I'm presently looking for a decent motorcycle riding boot that will provide sufficient comfort for walking as well as riding. I started off trying lace up tactical boots from various manufacturers but either quality or comfort (for me) was lacking and I don't think laces would be ideal for my needs. My feet are average width so I typically wear a 10 or 9.5 which varies between shoe makers. For the Ride Tecs I started with a 10 and quickly discovered that they were much too large, which would likely cause blistering if the boot didn't stay put when walking. When I exchanged for 9.5 they were still too big but I was hesitant to try a smaller size as I've never worn a 9 in my adult life. I also ordered the Durango and decided to start them at 9.5 to avoid an unnecessary return. I currently am evaluating the Ride Tec in size 9 and the Durango in 9.5. The Durango fits me like a glove and is well made. the soles are sewn to the upper as opposed to the Ride Tec which is glued (no telling how long that would last). The Durango's are about $52 more but the comfort and ability to repair them down the road may make the additional cost worth it. Both are snug but comfortable over all. The calf portion of the boot is larger on the Ride Tec which may make it more difficult to pull jeans down over them. The Durango boot has a more tailored calf and the leather is thinner and pliable over all. The calf on the Ride Tec appears to be a thicker leather and the Ride Tec offers a full length zipper which may offer advantages to some if the zipper is durable over the long term. I do see the zipper as a potential point of failure that could have been avoided since this boot's calf is roomier and isn't difficult for me to pull on without using the zipper. I have average calves but those with heavier calves will likely find the zipper to be an advantage over the Durango. If you are in the market for a budget priced boot I don't think you will be unhappy with the Ride Tec if long term durability isn't important to you. I've only worn them on carpet in my home, so I can't comment on the durability of the soles of either boot. The tread appears very similar for both brands. If money is no concern, the Durango is probably the better investment for those with average size calves.
