My son and his boys, ages 11 and 8, like to find old, discarded go-karts and rebuild them. Sometimes it’s an easy job and other times they must start from little more than the chassis and frame. Although this unit is marketed specifically for Coleman Go-Carts, we found that it easily mounted on the DIY unit they are re-building.The steering knuckle itself is sturdy; the welds are not real esthetic but are strong–they will hold.At just over $30, the price is lower or comparable to what you would pay in power sport vehicle specialty stores.
