I had high hopes for this ilink firewire cable to be able to download videos from my Sony DCR-TRV110 Digital 8 handycam but no such luck! I tried on 2 different computers and the camera was not recognized at all.

Reasons To Buy+ You have an older firewire device that you want to connect to+ Claims to be plug and play with no drivers required+ InexpensiveReasons Not To Buy- My camera did not detect properly. Your mileage may vary. Windows detected that a camera was connected, but it was detected as an unknown USB device with not drivers that it could find.Good Value? It might work for you, it might not. It's possible that my 20+ year old digital camcorder is simply too old for the cable.
