I ordered these to upgrade the cable actuated hydraulic calipers that I previously installed and what a difference! It's like night and day and for the price, these brakes are a great deal!Not only have they dramatically improved the braking on my Giant, they've improved the ride quality as well. The only thing that I can gripe about is my set came reversed (left/rear & right/front) but as a daily rider it was an easy switch. I also had to add a little more mineral oil to each reservoir after testing. After that my brakes are precise and silent, which is what you want when it comes to braking.I also want to mention how good they look, and since they are dual piston they're very understated and noticeably lighter than what I was using before.

They're cheap MTB hydraulic brakes, in every sense.What to love: They don't cost a lot, they do work, the lever effort is low, the lever travel is tight, they fit easily, install is pretty easy if you're comfortable with fairly advanced bike maintenance, stuff doesn't require machine work to make it fit.What not to love: They cut a bunch of corners. The little alignment washers that most use a double stack of male/female round fit washers, these have the cup cast into one part instead.The caliper end bleeder port has a copper crush washer for a seal instead of an O-ring. Kind of a pet peeve of mine, really should be an O-ring there.The clamp bolts where they clamp to the handlebar, don't fit the clamps properly. The bolt heads hit on just the edge on one side, which causes bolt breakage under stress. You can see the air gap under most of the bolt in my pic.Biggest bother, and they list it in the item description, they're plumbed wrong. The right side on a bicycle is the rear, the left side is the front, and these are the other way around. I want to not ding them rating-wise for this because they straight say it, but it's so bluntly wrong I just can't leave it alone. It's easy enough to swap the lines, but then you're into rebleeding them as well, and if you're not OK with that, you're either going to have a bad time, or you're headed to the bike shop for a lecture on getting what you pay for (and a bill to make up the difference).On the simple product details side, these fit a 160/160 rotor combo, it looks like they could be used on a 180/140 combo out of the box, or it looks like Tektro and Sram caliper brackets also fit these (maybe with a little creative shimming) if you wanted to use these on other rotor sizes/combos.If you just want budget brakes for a budget bike and you're a "I've got this" level of DIY'er, these are not a bad deal. If you're wanting an out of the box just slap it on and run it, these probably aren't what you want.

Per il momento cinque stelle,vediamo nel tempo se le merita. La qualità e il prezzo sono ottimi,molto comodo e pratico il manettino delle pompe. La frenata è più che ottima...che dire di più, li consigio caldamente.A distanza di quasi un anno,le cinque stelle che ho messo inizialmente le merita tutte e aggiungo anche la lode. Straconsigliato,hanno una frenata poderosa e sufficiente un solo dito sulla leva del freno e con una leggera pressione frena da paura.
