I bought this speaker for its tiny size. I wanted a better speaker than the one built into my scanner. This one is surprising for its size. Clear sound, smallest one I could find, and perfect for my need. I could even use it with my CB, as it is less than half the size of the one I am using with it.

I am using the speaker for my Midland GMRS radio when off-roading. I can actually hear it now and is is crystal clear. Only 4 stars because there is not enough cable to rout it easily and had to buy an extension wire.

It's a nice small speaker that you can tuck into some tiny places but it lacks good sound quality. It's not bad. It does sound OK, but the Road Pro RPSP-15 has superior sound quality compared to this, for less money. I bought it for it's compact size, otherwise I would have bought the Road Pro RPSP-15.

Bought the from amazon at about 10 bucks and worth every dime. Shipping was fast and packed well. I have this mounted in an '07 Silverado classic to the right, just below my steering wheel on the panel about knee height, completely out of the way. I have it hooked up to a Yaesu ft 8800 and the sound is great. I can hear it just fine over windows down road noise with music on and everything.NOTE: I also have a CB (cobra 29) in the same truck, what I tried to do was use a mono splitter and pipe the audio from both my ham radio and cb radio into this one speaker, but every time I keyed the CB it kicked feedback out no matter if the ham radio was off and on so I had to remove the splitter. This roadpro speaker is small and cheap enough I'll just buy another for the CB.
