It's nice light weight shorts however run a hair small. I normally wear large, but these short fit me tight at the waist, probably size up could fit me better.

I normally wear large shorts but ordered a medium as I'm nearing the border between sizes, and the waistband on these running shorts has enough elasticity to support my current size. They ride shorter than my other 7-inch inseam shorts (which is the inseam I found on one of the product images for these "Roar" shorts) but overall work well for my needs.I wish the waistband wasn't quite so elastic-dependent... it doesn't look as high quality with the bunched up fabric around the waist, and I have to expect they will stretch and wear down over time. Otherwise they are reasonably comfortable and a pretty true-to-size fit.

I recently tried the Roar Men’s Running Shorts, and they’re just okay. The fit is pretty boxy and not very flattering, which is a bit disappointing. I found the legs to be wider than I expected, making them feel a little bulky during workouts. On the plus side, they are lightweight and quick-drying, so they’re comfortable for training and kickboxing. Overall, they get the job done for workouts, but the style could definitely use some improvement.

I’ve been using the ROAR-INT Men’s Running Shorts for my workouts, and they’ve been a solid choice for everything from lifting to grappling and even some light sparring. The quick-dry fabric is a huge plus—I can work up a serious sweat, and they stay comfortable without feeling heavy or sticking to my skin. The fit is athletic and allows for full mobility, so I don’t feel restricted when doing high kicks, squats, or quick changes in direction. The shorts also handle grappling well; they’re durable and hold up under a lot of movement without riding up or stretching out. The design is simple but functional, with a wide elastic waistband that stays in place even during intense sessions. I especially appreciate the lightweight feel—great for cross-training or MMA-style workouts. If you’re looking for versatile, reliable training shorts, these are worth a shot.

I was looking for an extra pair of shorts for workouts and open gym nights so I ordered the black pair. According to the size chart, I ordered M due to waist size. However, even the waist size was a little tight so I would recommend going up one. The material is nice and cool - very breathable. And the pockets are a good size to hold phone, keys, earbuds. The only real issue is the outside leg length and inner crotch length. Both are too short. Maybe if I had sized up it would be a little better, but not by much. So instead of shorts to wear to the gym, I now have "house-only" shorts and will use my others for when in public.

I ordered a small in hoping it will fit right and be just right above the knee. Unfortunately when I received the item the tag showed “S” assuming that means small, but the shorts were too big and it looked like it was more on the medium/large size. The material was okay but could be better.

These are a decent pair of shorts, suitable for a variety of activities. The negatives are that the waistband has elastic which is probably a bit too short. This results in the waistband looking a little smaller than it actually is because the elastic makes it a bit bunched up. This results in the waistband being nice and snug, which I do like, but wonder how long it will last. The other negative is that the inseam is a bit too high. I usually prefer a little more freedom of movement in the front pouch area, but if you don't mind showing a bit in the front, then that could be a plus. It was almost a 3/5 rating for me, but being a good value priced option leaves more room for overlooking these minor issues. They are decent enough shorts for hot days at work or play.
